I contacted Skippy’s Roof Racks LTD following Thule’s recommendation.
They had the part I needed to fix my bike rack and sent it out for next day delivery.
All fix now.

My wife and i just spent 1.5 hours in the car travelling to Skippy’s Having previously had a phone conversation with Steve. I did this purely because of all the fantastic feedback i had read from other customers. When we pulled up by the door we could see our roof box sitting on a pair of trestles ready to go. Steve ran through the operation procedure, very straight forward. I offered to help lift the box onto my bars but before i could finish the question he had lifted the box, showing me the best way, and it was on the car. he explained the tightening procedure – job done.

We recently bought a Thule Roof box and Roof rack for our Jaguar F Pace and really can’t fault the process- Steve was really helpful answering questions before the purchase and then talked us through how to fit both items when we arrived at his facility allowing us to feel really competent at doing this for ourselves. Nice people to deal with. Professional and quick service. I was really impressed. My bike rack was delivered to Skippy’s on a Wednesday afternoon for repair. Thursday afternoon I received a video showing the completed repair. By Friday lunch time the bike rack was delivered back to my home in London. It doesn’t get better. Thank you!

These guys are outstanding, I always deal with Ian by email. They provide a superb service at a very reasonable cost, nothing is ever too much trouble. They have even sent me replacement parts when stuff has broken, often at no charge or postage costs. I buy all my roof bars and bike rack stuff from them and would not go anywhere else .

Highly recommend! Great service and roof rack fitted in ten minutes with a quality Thule roof box. I was going to buy one from Halfords and the cost was ridiculously expensive so I got a quote from Steven and I saved myself a small fortune. Book in advance as he seemed to be busy when getting the box and dropping off. Very professional

There’s nothing that the staff at Skippy’s don’t know about Thule roof bars. I recently purchased a rood bar system for my 987 Cayman and am really impressed with the set up. They are well worth contacting for roof bar systems, even for vehicles that have long been discontinued by Thule themselves.

Thank you to Steven at Skippys for being so patient, helpful and accomodating. We have a growing family and realised we needed some roof storage opting for the Thule Canyon ‘extended’ basket which Steve fitted onsite for us. We purchased a 595L waterproof roof luggage bag which carried 4 suitcases (one 75cm and 3 carry ons). The whole experience with Skippys was excellent and Steven is super meticulous with everything start to finish.
